During the team presentation, Team Visma | Lease a Bike unveiled the cycling kit for the 2024 season. With the new combination of Visma and Lease a Bike as main sponsors, a fresh start is made, building upon everything the team has achieved and established in recent years. This is prominently reflected in the outfit, where yellow and black still dominate.
The riders of Team Visma | Lease a Bike will continue to be identifiable to fans in the future through the colors yellow and black. The new kit prominently features Visma and Lease a Bike as the new main sponsors. Jumbo, as the Founding Partner, has a special logo placed on the back. There is also space for partners Cervélo, Betcity, Sram, Loyalty, and clothing sponsor AGU. The shorts are classic black with the logos of Visma, Lease a Bike, Betcity, Cervélo, and Agu.
“I really think it’s a super nice kit,” said Wout van Aert. “We remain recognizable in the colors we have been using for so many years. Yellow is the highest achievement in our sport, so I find it symbolic that it’s also the color of our shirt. The brighter color also makes us stand out even more. Additionally, this year we have a nice, clean shirt. It looks very well crafted.”
Richard Plugge continues: “At the core of the new corporate identity is our new promise: beyond victory. In recent years, we have risen to become one of the best cycling teams in the peloton. However, it does not stop there for us. As mentioned earlier: we want to build a legacy for eternity in the coming years. To do that, we need to look beyond just winning, including the way that victory is achieved. With our unique way of collaboration and racing, we want to write history. It would be very nice if this eventually leads to more people around the world getting on their bikes, whether it’s for sports or transportation.”
“Today, we are launching more than just a new kit,” said a proud CEO Richard Plugge. “Together with our new title sponsors, we are unveiling a new corporate identity that is fully reflected in that new kit. A corporate identity that keeps us close to ourselves and everything we have built over the past years: we remain yellow-black, and we continue to use the distinctive hexagon and honeycomb. We anchor these elements in the company behind our team. That company used to be called Blanco Pro Cycling but is now rebranded as Yellow B. At the same time, we have opted for a brighter shade of yellow, and our new main sponsors Visma and Lease a Bike are naturally featured in our new logo and team name. We are very pleased that Visma and Lease a Bike align with our vision to preserve our team colors and thus support us in our mission to build a legacy.”
