Simon Yates (Team BikeExchange-Jayco) has won Stage 2 of the 105th Giro d’Italia, the 9.2km long ITT Budapest-Budapest. Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-Fenix) and Tom Dumoulin (Jumbo-Visma) finished second and third respectively.

Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-Fenix) retains the Maglia Rosa.
