Simon Yates (Team BikeExchange) has won Stage 19 of the 104th Giro d’Italia, 166km long from Abbiategrasso to Alpe di Mera (Valsesia). João Almeida (Deceuninck – Quick-Step) and Egan Bernal (Ineos Grenadiers) finished second and third, respectively.

Egan Bernal (Ineos Grenadiers) retains the Maglia Rosa and leads the general classification.
