Daniel Martin (Israel Start-Up Nation) has won Stage 17 of the 104th Giro d’Italia, 193km long from Canazei to Sega di Ala. João Almeida (Deceuninck – Quick-Step) and Simon Yates (Team BikeExchange) finished second and third, respectively.

Egan Bernal (Ineos Grenadiers) retains the Maglia Rosa and leads the general classification.
