Andrea Vendrame (AG2R Citroen Team) has won Stage 12 of the 104th Giro d’Italia, 212km from Siena to Bagno di Romagna. Breakaway companions Christopher Hamilton (Team DSM) and Gianluca Brambilla (Trek-Segafredo) finished second and third, respectively.

Egan Bernal (Ineos Grenadiers) retains the Maglia Rosa and leads the general classification.
