Filippo Ganna wins Stage 1 of the Giro d’Italia and wears the first Maglia Rosa

Filippo Ganna (Ineos Grenadiers) has won Stage 1 of the 104th Giro d’Italia, the 8.6km Torino-Torino Tissot ITT that marks the start of the Corsa Rosa and decides the first Maglia Rosa of the race.

Edoardo Affini (Jumbo-Visma) and Tobias Foss (Jumbo-Visma) finished second and third respectively.
